THOUGHTFULLY PREPARED • TAILORED TO YOU AND YOUR LOVED ONES

I am a trained member of the Fellowship of Professional Celebrants, specialising in funerals. I offer the families of a lost loved one support throughout the lead up to and during their loved one’s funeral.

Initially visiting or talking online with close family I will gain an understanding of the family’s wishes, and gather as much information about the lost loved one as possible to use for the ceremony. As a family, it's up to you how the ceremony is conducted, and it is my responsibility as your celebrant to listen to what is wanted and to respect the deceased wishes.

After we have met I will email you the proposed order of service in plenty of time for the family to make any changes needed, and prepare any video clips or photos to be added. I will stay in touch throughout the lead up to the ceremony, being available to answer your questions or help in any way I can.

During the ceremony I will be on hand to support the family as needed, and I will conduct the ceremony to the best of my ability. I consider it to be a great honour to celebrate and reflect upon someone’s life. And it is something I do not take on lightly.

I am based in Chiswick in West London and cover the surrounding areas including Ealing, Barnes, Hammersmith, Fulham, Shepherds Bush, Brentford, Sheen, Mortlake and Acton, but can travel if requested.

Thoughtful Funeral Ceremonies

I offer services to fit the deceased, tailoring each ceremony to your unique loved one, and never simply applying pre-written scripts for their service. I am not of any particular religious view, but am happy to include any religious or spiritual text wanted by the family.

Choosing your celebrant

Before making a decision on who to book as a celebrant, do make sure you've looked up and spoken to several celebrants. I may be a good fit for some people and not right for others, and each celebrant has their own style.

I myself have a natural and informal manner which may or may not suit your family's wishes or be right for your loved one. If you would like to know more about my style and what to expect, please watch the below video where I talk more about the process.

I'm a positive, caring person who will take on the great responsibility of giving your loved one the best ceremony possible.

I live with my wife and 2 young daughters in Chiswick, West London. My family is the most important thing to me, so I very much take on board the importance of my role as your own loved one’s celebrant, and understanding what you want for them and their ceremony. I will do everything in my power to make their service as special and unique as I can.

In my spare time I'm a keen sailor, and enjoy sailing on the river in dingys in Hammersmith at the weekend when I can, or if time allows going further afield in slightly larger boats!

I've had a rich and varied background. I left home and school at 17 to move to London, where I worked for Harrods for the next 5 years. After this I travelled to Southern Africa which was to be the start of 4 years working my way around the continents of Africa, Australia, Asia and Europe.

After a period of adjustment returning to the UK. I set up my own company 15 years ago, selling security products into the motor industry. My major skill in running a company has been my people skills, retaining and looking after my staff in a courteous and respectful manner.

Alongside my work, I'm a regular and long-standing volunteer at a local food bank in West London. Supporting clients with food and a friendly chat is something that has become an important part of my life.
